East Sale RAAF Base Air 5428 PTS Facilities Project

The East Sale RAAF Base Air 5428 PTS Facilities Project was a pre-cast and insitu concrete works package completed by GBG in 2017 to 2018.

The $12Million project awarded to GBG as part of Laing O’Rourke’s AIR5428 Pilot Training System Facilities Project delivered to defence

Works Included:

  • Insiti concrete works including strip & pad footings
  • Raft slabs
  • Heavy duty aircraft hangar slabs
  • Post tensioned suspended concrete slabs to first level
  • Bondek plant room slabs
  • 390 Pre-cast panels weighing up to 20 ton per element
  • Pre-cast panels were dual rotated into position using 2 cranes
